Our Story
Five decades of feeding the Iron Range
Denali Restaurant opened its doors in 1974 on 9th Street with a simple belief: that a well-cooked meal is the heart of any gathering. What started as a family kitchen has grown into a Lake Linden institution — the place where shift workers grab a coffee before the shift, where families celebrate birthdays, and where visitors discover why the Upper Peninsula tastes different.
We source what we can from local farms and fisheries, and we cook everything from scratch. Our pie cases are filled every morning. Our soup pots simmer all day. And our coffee never goes cold.
